La Liga 2026/27 Prediction League: a private Spanish football predictor for your group

What a private prediction league is, and why it isn't betting
Everyone in a closed group predicts the same fixtures, the app compares each prediction with the real result and turns the difference into points. What separates it from most of what turns up when you search for Spanish football is what is missing: no stake, no entry fee, no odds, no prize fund. What you predict, and how the points work
The heart of it is the exact score. You call 2-1, and how close you land decides what you collect: a perfect scoreline scores highest, the right goal difference with the wrong scoreline scores less, picking the right winner scores least.
Nothing is imposed from above. As the founder you set what an exact score is worth, what a correct winner is worth and how a called draw is treated, which is why two groups rarely build the same league. Rather than start from a blank form, borrow the worked examples in scoring rules.
Groups who want more to argue about can switch on predictions for the goalscorer, the assist and the time of the first goal, with the organiser defining the minute brackets. All of it is optional and all of it is scored automatically at full time; the list is on the features page.
One practical note if you follow from the UK: predictions lock the moment a match kicks off, and Spanish evening fixtures land in the middle of your evening, which is easy to forget on a Saturday. The app can push a reminder before the deadline.
All 20 clubs, or only yours
Inventing a scoreline every week for two clubs you have no feelings about is how a season-long league quietly dies in September. If you follow Sevilla, you want to call Sevilla games.
Team selection at setup lets you tick one club or several, and everyone then sees only the fixtures those clubs appear in, home and away. Out of 380 fixtures, the list comes down to your club's 38: one a week, the game you were watching anyway.
You can change it later: an admin can add the derby rival in October. The one restriction is that a club cannot be removed once somebody has predicted one of its fixtures. The rest of matchweek 1 is spread over the following days and appears as the times are confirmed, sorted chronologically with a countdown on each fixture. Times in the app are shown on Central European Time, the clock Spain uses, so subtract an hour.

One table for Spain and England
Here is why a La Liga league is worth starting even if your group is really an English football group: Spain kicks off on 15 August and the Premier League does not begin until 21 August. Set it up now and your table is six days old before the domestic season starts.
You do not have to keep the two apart either. The multi-league setting merges several competitions of the same sport into one league: fixtures interleave into a single chronological list and every point lands in the same leaderboard. You pick the competitions at setup and can add more later, though one that has predictions on it cannot be pulled back out. Your club's colours
So the league looks like your group's rather than ours, an admin can apply a palette drawn from real club colours.
The palettes are not named after clubs and none of it is official branding. The change is cosmetic: fixtures, scoring and anything already predicted stay as they were.
Who a La Liga prediction league suits
Supporters' groups outside Spain. Following a Spanish club from another country usually means watching alone; a season-long table gives a scattered group a weekly reason to talk.
Offices. The Spanish season runs from August to May, most of a working year, and a prediction league among colleagues outlasts any organised team-building afternoon.
Pubs, groups of mates and online communities. Five people in a group chat get the same league as a supporters' group of a hundred, and a club Discord or subreddit gets a table people return to between matchdays.
When it isn't the right fit
If your group only tunes in for two fixtures a season, a 38-matchweek table is more than you need. If the whole point is playing for a cash pot, this is deliberately the wrong tool: there is no mechanism to take money in or pay any out.
