An hour earlier than you think, a week later than your own league
Germany is one hour ahead all year round, and kick-off times in the app are shown in Central European Time — for the Bundesliga, local German time. So the opener listed as 20:30 starts at 19:30 for you: a Friday night that begins after work rather than halfway through it. If your group tends to remember on the way to the pub, the app pushes a reminder before the deadline.
The German season also starts on 28 August, a week after the Premier League's 21 August opener. If your domestic league got away from you — half the group signed up late, matchweek 1 unpredicted — this is a clean sheet with all 34 matchdays ahead.
What you predict, and how the points work
The core of every league is the exact score. You call 2–1; how close you land decides what you take. Points come from a perfectly correct scoreline, from the right goal difference with the wrong scoreline, or simply from picking the right winner.
Nothing is imposed from above. As founder you decide what an exact score is worth, what a correct winner is worth and whether a called draw earns a bonus. Change the rules in November and the points recalculate retrospectively, visibly to everyone. For a starting point rather than a blank page, scoring rules works the same for a supporters' club as for an office.

All 18 clubs — or just yours
The 2026/27 line-up sits in the app under its German names, which is how you will see it in the picker: Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart, Werder Bremen, Borussia Mönchengladbach, SC Freiburg, 1. FC Köln, FC Schalke 04, Hamburger SV, Union Berlin, FSV Mainz 05, FC Augsburg, 1899 Hoffenheim, SV Elversberg and SC Paderborn 07.
This is the setting people abroad reach for first: following German football from Manchester or Cork usually means one club properly and the rest loosely.
Team selection when you create the league lets you tick one club, or several. Everyone then sees only the fixtures those clubs appear in, home and away. Out of 306 fixtures your list comes down to your club's 34 — nine months of league for about two minutes a week. You can widen it later, though a club cannot be removed once somebody has predicted its match; tick nothing and you get the full division. Almost nobody here follows German football and nothing else, and running two separate leagues means two tables and half the group forgetting the second one.

Who a Bundesliga prediction league suits

The app carries the Bundesliga, not the 2. Bundesliga, the DFB-Pokal or the Austrian and Swiss leagues, so a group interested in German football below the top flight will not find it here. If the point of your group is a cash pot, this is the wrong tool by design — there is deliberately no way to take money in or pay it out. It is not fantasy football either: no auction, no budget, no starting XI, just scorelines. With two people it is barely a contest; the table means something from about five.
